EU Export Readiness Consultant in Bali: Package & Fees

EU Export Readiness Consultant in Bali: Package & Fees

An EU export readiness consultant in Bali prepares Indonesian producers to ship compliantly into the European market across three fronts: building the document workflow (HS code, certificate of origin, phytosanitary, EORI), reviewing product safety and labeling against EU rules, and supporting the first shipment end to end. Bali Export Consultant delivers all three as one named engagement — the EU Export Readiness Package — quote-based, with indicative fees dated July 2026 below.

We are part of Juara Holding Group — an Indonesian group operating from Bali across Indonesia since 2015. Everything on this page is compliance information, not legal advice: confirm final requirements with the relevant authorities or a licensed adviser for your product category before you commit cargo.

What Is Inside the EU Export Readiness Package?

Three workstreams decide whether a first EU shipment moves or stalls. The package covers each in sequence.

Document workflow build. We map every paper your shipment needs, then build the workflow so your team can repeat it without us:

  • HS classification cross-checked against Indonesia’s BTKI schedule and the EU TARIC database, so the code on your PEB export declaration matches what your importer declares
  • Certificate of origin — currently non-preferential for EU-bound cargo; the IEU-CEPA agreement expected to enter into force in 2027 will add preferential origin paperwork worth planning for now
  • Phytosanitary certificate routing through Balai Karantina for plant-based cargo
  • EORI mapping — who registers, you or your EU importer of record, and for which filings

Safety and labeling review. A line-by-line check of your label and compliance file against the destination market: mandatory label elements, language rules of the target member state, responsible-operator address requirements, and category flags such as food-contact declarations or CE-marked goods. Where laboratory testing is required, we scope the tests and you pay the lab directly — no markup hidden in our fee.

First-shipment support. We sit alongside your forwarder and PPJK customs broker for the live shipment: export declaration data, the document pack for your EU importer, and — for EUDR commodities such as coffee or cocoa — preparation of the Due Diligence Statement data your EU-side operator files in the TRACES NT system.

How Much Does an EU Export Readiness Consultant in Bali Cost?

All fees are quote-based. The figures below are indicative, dated July 2026, and subject to change; every engagement gets a fixed written quote before any money moves.

Tier Typical duration Indicative fee (July 2026, subject to change)
Tier 1: Document Foundations 2–3 weeks IDR 9,500,000–14,000,000
Tier 2: Foundations + Safety & Labeling 4–6 weeks IDR 16,500,000–24,000,000
Tier 3: Full First-Shipment Support 8–12 weeks IDR 28,000,000–45,000,000
EUDR add-on, per commodity +2–4 weeks Quoted after plot count is confirmed

For context on the local market: The Bali Curator lists a sourcing-and-support package at IDR 12,500,000 (as listed 2026), and SGS Indonesia offers EUDR gap analysis from South Jakarta. Our tiers are priced against that landscape — deeper than a sourcing package, closer to your farm gate than a Jakarta audit firm.

What moves your quote inside the range: number of SKUs, whether laboratory testing applies, whether your commodity sits in EUDR scope, and how many supplying farm plots need geolocation records.

Why Does EU Readiness Matter More in 2026?

The EU Deforestation Regulation was adopted by the European Parliament in April 2023, by the Council in May 2023, and entered into force in June 2023. It covers seven commodities, and Indonesia produces four of them: palm oil, coffee, cocoa and rubber. Goods must be deforestation-free — produced on land not deforested after 31 December 2020 — and legally produced, evidenced by a Due Diligence Statement filed in TRACES NT before the goods enter the EU, referencing HS code, EORI number, origin and geolocation data: full polygon coordinates for plots over 4 hectares, a single point for smaller plots.

Enforcement dates are staggered and published sources differ. As of 2026, we plan client schedules against 30 December 2025 for large operators, while other timelines cite 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators and 30 June 2027 for micro and small enterprises. Confirm current dates with the European Commission before you fix a shipping calendar — we will not guarantee a compliance outcome, and neither should anyone else. Penalties for non-compliance can reach 4% of EU turnover, plus confiscation of goods.

Readiness also compounds. The documentation discipline EUDR forces on you is the same discipline IEU-CEPA — expected in force in 2027 — will reward with tariff advantages tied to standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need my own EORI number before booking the package?

No. Your EU buyer normally holds the EORI number as importer of record. You would only need EU-side registration in specific setups, such as selling delivered-duty-paid or acting as the operator filing EUDR statements. The document workflow stage of the package maps exactly who registers what, before anything is filed.

Can a Bali consultant prepare EUDR due diligence for coffee or cocoa?

Yes — preparation, not filing. We compile the geolocation records (polygons for plots over 4 hectares, single points below that), farmer identity and land tenure documents, and the risk-assessment file behind a Due Diligence Statement. The DDS itself is lodged in TRACES NT by the EU-side operator; we hand over a filing-ready pack.

How long does EU export readiness take for a small Bali producer?

As of July 2026, plan 2–3 weeks for the document foundations tier and 8–12 weeks for full first-shipment support. Laboratory testing and EUDR plot mapping are the usual extenders — a multi-plot coffee supply chain typically adds 2–4 weeks. The scoping call gives you a dated timeline before you commit.

Does the package guarantee my goods clear EU customs?

No, and be wary of anyone who promises that. Clearance decisions sit with EU customs and member-state authorities, and EUDR checks sit with each country’s competent authority. What the package does is align your documents with the published requirements and coordinate your brokers — which is where most first shipments actually fail.
