The Bali export consultant that maps both sides of your shipment — Indonesia’s paperwork and Brussels’ or Washington’s.

One rail is what Indonesia demands: NIB, PEB via CEISA, NPE, COO, phytosanitary, V-Legal. The other is what your destination demands: EUDR due diligence statements, EORI, FDA Prior Notice, Lacey Act. We are the bridge in the middle — an advisory practice, engaged through structured intake, not a quote lottery.
The crosswalk: every Indonesian document mapped to its destination-side counterpart.
Export Document Pathfinder
Pick a commodity group and a destination. The Pathfinder returns the ordered document chain from Bali warehouse to import clearance — each document tagged with its issuing authority and the party legally responsible for it.
Requirements as of 2026 — EUDR applies to large/medium operators from 30 Dec 2025, micro & small enterprises from 30 Jun 2026.
Informational mapping, not legal advice. Clearance decisions rest with the relevant authorities; no outcome is guaranteed.
EUDR Scope Board — which Bali commodities are in scope
Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 requires deforestation-free proof back to the reference cutoff of 31 December 2020. The due diligence statement is filed in TRACES NT by the EU operator; the exporter supplies the geolocation and legality evidence. As of 2026.
| Bali commodity | EUDR scope | Geolocation rule | Who files the DDS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coffee | In scope | Plot >4 ha: polygon; ≤4 ha: point coordinates permitted | EU operator (importer placing on market) |
| Cocoa | In scope | Plot >4 ha: polygon; ≤4 ha: point coordinates permitted | EU operator |
| Natural rubber | In scope | Plot >4 ha: polygon; ≤4 ha: point coordinates permitted | EU operator |
| Wood & wooden furniture | In scope | Harvest plots geolocated; SVLK evidence supports legality | EU operator |
| Palm-oil derivatives | In scope | Plot geolocation per the same 4-ha rule | EU operator |
| Non-wood handicraft | Outside scope | — (ISPM-15 still applies to wooden packaging) | — |
PEB Clearance Ladder — the Indonesian customs workflow
Six rungs from business registration to Bill of Lading, each labelled with who acts. This is the standard Bea Cukai export flow via CEISA 4.0, as of 2026.
- NIB & export-eligibility checkActs: Exporter (via OSS). Business Identification Number plus any commodity-specific export licences.
- HS code confirmationActs: Exporter with PPJK / advisor. Fixes duty treatment and triggers lartas permits and destination rules.
- PEB submission via CEISA 4.0Acts: Exporter or licensed PPJK. The electronic export declaration lodged with Bea Cukai.
- Customs response — NPE or inspection laneActs: Bea Cukai (DJBC). Nota Pelayanan Ekspor releases the goods; a physical-inspection lane may be assigned instead.
- Container stuffing & gate-inActs: Exporter & forwarder. ISPM-15-stamped packaging; cargo delivered inside the port cut-off.
- Bill of Lading issuedActs: Carrier. The B/L closes the Indonesian leg and anchors every destination-side filing.
Destination Entry Grid — what the other side demands
The destination leg is where Indonesian shipments most often stall. Requirement chips per market, as of 2026.

How an engagement works
Structured intake first, scope in writing, then the work. Advisory means we map, prepare and audit documents — we do not issue them, and we never promise what only an authority can decide.
Structured intake
A fixed-agenda session on your commodity, HS position, buyers and destination. Free of charge; ends with a written scope.
Requirements assessment
Your route mapped against the crosswalk matrix; gaps listed document by document with the responsible party.
Document build
Preparation support alongside your PPJK, forwarder and buyer — from geolocation files to COO and phyto applications.
Handover & monitoring
A complete file pack per shipment, with optional retainer monitoring as rules move (IEU-CEPA preference expected 2027).

Questions the intake sessions keep answering
When does EUDR actually apply to my shipments?
As of 2026: large and medium operators from 30 December 2025; micro and small enterprises from 30 June 2026. The deforestation-free cutoff looks back to 31 December 2020, and the due diligence statement is filed in TRACES NT before goods are placed on the EU market.
What is the EUDR geolocation rule for my farm plots?
Plots larger than 4 hectares need polygon coordinates; plots of 4 hectares or less may use single point coordinates. The exporter typically assembles this file even though the EU operator files the DDS.
What is a PEB, and what happens after I submit it?
The PEB is Indonesia’s electronic export declaration, lodged with Bea Cukai through CEISA 4.0 by the exporter or a licensed PPJK. Customs responds with an NPE (clearance to load) or assigns a physical-inspection lane.
Do I need an EORI number as an Indonesian exporter?
No — the EORI belongs to the EU (or UK) importer. If you have no buyer entity in Europe, an importer-of-record arrangement can hold that role; we arrange this through vetted licensed partners and say so plainly.
Does handicraft need a phytosanitary certificate?
It depends on the material. Plant-based products generally do; stone, ceramic and textile handicraft generally do not — but wooden packaging always needs ISPM-15 treatment and stamping. The HS code decides, which is why classification comes first.
